I almost completely agree but I'd like to add something to bullet #1. If the Browns are going to move on after making the switch, the team needs to release DA...period. If someone wants to pick him up..fine. Let him destroy some other team. Just get him out of Cleveland.

The next move is to sign a quarterback from another practice squad or, better yet, bring back Graham Harrell. He has an arm that's able to stretch the field and, above all, has an excuse for making the same mistakes DA made. He's still a rookie.

Point #3 has always perplexed me. Why would a team with below-average linebackers insist on playing a 3-4 scheme? The defensive line is the strength of this defense. Let them do their jobs and give the opposing QB something to think about other than picking the DB's apart all day.

The kids definitely need to play. Your comment about letting them taste the humiliation makes good sense. Put your hand on a hot stove and you'll not want to do it again.

The only issue I have with the post is on point #2. Don't use Cribbs as a receiver. Put him in a position where the QB can get the ball into his hands more reliably. Sit Jamal and put him in at tailback. He'd be great taking hand-off, pitches and swing passes out of the backfield and the QB wouldn't have to worry about routes.

When the defense starts focusing on Cribbs, hit them with Jamal. Let Josh run the defense until they're ragged and Jamal can then make them pay for their lack of stamina.

I skimmed over the article, but it seems like it is right on, particularly four and five; play the new people, and coach and teach. Make the majority of mistakes NOW, when it doesn't matter anyway.
