3rd Quarter Thoughts

Browns start there first possession on the 43 yard line after a great return my Harrison. Cribbs runs the Wildcat, keeps the ball and gains 17 yards. Cribbs in again in the Wildcat runs left for 4 yards. Dawson makes 33 yard field goal. Browns scoring drive 7 plays 28 yards time of possession 3 minutes and 53 seconds.

I question why the Browns declined a holding penalty early in the third quearter after a no gain. It would of been 1st and 20 instead of 2nd and 10. 3rd down and 8 for the Raiders at there own 46 we need a stop. We brought the pressure and got Charlie a intentional grounding penalty. Way to go D….

D.A. complete to Massaquoi first down Browns. Bad Pass but Massaquoi makes play. D.A. to Michael Gaines first down Browns 24 yard pass completion. Jerome Harrison runs in TD, penalty marker down illegal block in the back and the TD comes back. Harrison gets the ball again makes a move and it will be second and 2. What a run by Harrison!!!!!! Harrison fumbles the ball at the six yard line. That was a killer. Raiders take over at the 6 yard line. The Browns had a chance to put the Raiders away if they didn’t turn the ball over. Come on Charlie turn the ball over…. D.A. throws 3 yard pass to Stuckey and it was 3rd and 5.

Browns 20 Raiders 9

Pick caught by McDonald was a big momentum changing play. I was starting to get nervous. Now let’s go down and score.
