Is Browns Wildcat Best Yet?

The Miami Dolphins two years ago shocked the world beating the New England Patriots by using the Wildcat, which took them all the way to an AFC East Crown and a home playoff game. The Browns started using the Wildcat effectively last year with Josh Cribbs running the show.

The Browns didn’t have much talent on the offensive side of the ball and it still was a very dangerous weapon against opponents. If the Browns add more talent to the offense which I think that they will without a question add some playmakers to the team. The Browns Wildcat was very effective the last few games of the year and even though it didn’t get us a Division title last year it could in years to come.

Cribbs is weapon on offense that could be more of a threat then Ronnie Brown for the Dolphins. With the Steelers on there way down and the Ravens Defense aging, the Bengals being the Bengals, the Browns have an opportunity to compete for the North title next year. That is of course if Cribbs is back next year and is as effective this year as last. The Browns need to get a quarterback, deep threat receiver, and a right tackle that would make there line the best in the league depending on injuries. I think then the offense would be capable of being good enough to win the Division.

I imagine Holmgren and company have noticed that Cribbs was an effective weapon that can be deployed in a variety of ways. At least, if I were a betting man that’s how I would bet.
