Thomas Glad to Be Back at the Pro Bowl

Joe Thomas arrived in Florida earlier this week and is glad to back in the Pro Bowl. Here is what he had to say over the phone via Thomas has also said this week that he wants to play the rest of his career here and retire a Cleveland Brown. Lerner should give Thomas a blank check and tell him whatever he wants he gets. He is a great asset to our Cleveland Browns.

“It’s great to be back,” Thomas said from Miami this week. “I’m really excited and honored to be in my third Pro Bowl. It’s always nice to go against the best of the best.”Even at half speed here in practice, you see the speed, the talent, the zip on the ball and these phenomenal athletes at every position. I’m a fan. The bottom line is it’s fun. I love being a part of it.”

“I told my buddies if I was fortunate enough to make the Pro Bowl this year I would take them along,” he said. “And they were glad to take me up on it.”It’s more of the same amazing things we see in Cleveland,” Thomas added about Cribbs. “He’s returning punts; he’s running out of the Wildcat, he’s everywhere. He has a great shot to be MVP of this game.”

“You’ll see me planted on the left side Sunday night, trying to do my job,” said Thomas. “The other two tackles here are first-timers, so I’m pulling rank a little bit. I haven’t been able to get them to draw up any plays for me.”
