5 Players to watch out for this Offseason……

Brett Favre

The Brett Favre watch has already begun and is only going to get more interesting for the rest of the league as the off season officially began.  Favre had one of his best season of his career with the Minnesota Vikings this season. Favre got beat up by the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints and if he is able to get passed his horrible interception in the NFC Championship Favre might be willing to come back for another run at a Super Bowl.

Julius Peppers

Peppers has made it clear that he doesn’t want to play for the Panthers next season. The Panther could Franchise Tag this 30 year old dominant Defensive football player. Peppers came out this week and said the Panthers haven’t talked to him at all about a Contract Extension. Peppers can still play football at a high level and be a leader and productive player on any Defense.

Terrell Owens

T.O didn’t complain in Buffalo and was a model citizen through a very tough situation in Buffalo. The Bills didn’t have a Quarterback and you didn’t hear about the Bills not having a Quarterback throwing to T.O. There might not be a lot of teams looking to bring on T.O but he did really well in Buffalo due to the situation. Ocho Cinco said the other day he wanted T.O. in Cincinnati and I think that would be a good fit for both the Bengals and T.O.

LaDainian Tomlinson

With it looking more and more certain that L.T. and the Chargers are going to part ways this off season. I think L.T. still has a little more in the gas tank and could be a perfect fit in New Orleans if the Saints decide to part ways with Reggie Bush. L.T. like T.O. might not have a lot of takers but could help an offense out this season and is still a play maker.

Brandon Marshall

With the ongoing sage between Marshall and Mcdaniels, Brandon Marshall could be heading out of the Mile High city. Marshall doesn’t want to leave Denver but it might not be his choice after getting benched the last game of the Season. There are many teams in need of a prime time Receiver in his prime. The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins are both teams that could use the talent.

Well, I’m not watching. Of this group, only Peppers has any real interest for Cleveland, as I see it. If Rogers is traded, then I see Peppers possibly making his way here. I doubt either is possible, though. I like Rogers and would like to see him playing DE next to Rubin. That is as good as the Peppers deal without having to sacrifice any draft choices at all.
