Holmgren says the Browns can go up or down in the Draft

The Plain Dealer reports that it appears that the Browns are willing to move up or down in the draft:

Tony Grossi of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Browns President Mike Holmgren inherits the No. 7 overall pick in this year’s draft. Holmgren said he is not averse to moving down or up in the first round. “Not at all,” he said. “We have some ammunition because we have a lot of picks.” The Browns have 11 total picks, including their own picks in each of the seven rounds.

I’m starting to hear rumblings that Cleveland is interested in a QB this draft. This might be OK in the mid-rounds. There are some talented guys from — some from smaller schools — that will be available then. Think: Brady, Favre. From what I am reading, it seems that BQ might not be in the plans of the powers that be — which seems a bit odd if they are truly bringing in a possession passing type of offense.
