Browns Linebacker Not Happy Over Contract….

Browns linebacker D’Qwell Jackson is not happy that the Browns broke a promise over a long term contract that was promised last season. Jackson the Browns lead the team and the NFL in tackles in the past few seasons before injury ended his season early last season. Jackson and his agent are the newest player to be upset about a broken promise in the Mangini Era…

“It never should’ve gotten to this point,” Mackler said.  “We were promised last offseason by [former General Manager] George Kokinis that it would be done before training camp — that we would begin serious discussions before training camp.””I’m tired of excuses,” agent Brian Mackler told Cabot.  “The team made made promises of a new deal it has not kept.  What they’re doing is wrong.  That we’re even having this conversation about a tender is utterly ridiculous.”

This is exactly what i was talking about a few weeks/months back. Now you have opened the flood gates for every spoiled player with a whining complaint and a bs agent to turn around and say oh, the former guy promised. I’m tired of waiting.
watch for him to be gone if he continues this. and watch for agent speak in the nature of, well this doesn’t bode well for the cleve. browns and threats about blackballing the browns. which if the browns said something lile that would be held to a different standard and accused of something illegal.
Hey, guess what, the ‘former guy’ ain’t here no more.

Time for the grown-ups to show up. Earthquakes, economic decline, two wars, poverty, US loss of competitiveness — and this is what these clowns get all worked up about. Sorry. Just can’t get too excited over an entertainer not getting paid enough millions.
