Cleveland Browns Jerseys

Holmgren cleaning house…..

The Cleveland Browns have been very active today with the Brady Quinn Era came and gone in Cleveland. The Browns shipped Quinn and Wimbley to the AFC West. The Cleveland Browns have capped off this past week with a bang on Sunday. Holmgren landed another third round pick making it three in this years draft. Also the Browns now have 10 picks in the first five rounds in this years draft. The Cleveland Browns are going to be a major player in this years draft with all the Draft picks they  stockpiled in the deepest draft in NFL History. Browns fans maybe bummed for the trading of Quinn but it was best for him and the organization to go in a different direction. This years Browns won’t look like  last years team at trainning camp ,with the moves the Browns made this week and the draft coming up this is  a  whole new team headed in the right direction. Go Browns Destination Super Bowl!!!!!

I get the sense that these guys are positioning themselves for specific moves in the draft. Stockpiling draft picks as trade material is a sound strategy when restructuring large portions of a roster — like what the Browns are doing. Instead of moving down, they might move up. Nobody’s (seriously) mentioned either Bradford or Clausen in the same sentence as Cleveland. Wonder if that will change. This draft seems to be moving decidedly defense, OL, RB and maybe a receiver.

Getting rid of Wimbley, I would go right back to the Raiders and sign, Kirk Morrison, the guy is a beast and only has a third round tender on him, a steal! It does seem that we are stockpiling picks for something big on draft day, Bradford. I just don’t know, he has that injured shoulder and is injury prone and in our division that is not a good thing to have a seemingly frail QB.

Randy, that is a terrible picture of Holmgren.

I’m hearing too much of “Browns and Bradford” or “Browns and Clausen” yes, those qbs are good.
But look what happened to our last ND qb. :s
Why not look deeper in the draft for a qb. Someone like Dan Levour from Western Michigan.
I believe he’s the next Peyton Manning, and could go as low as the 4th round.. I’m just tired of seeing the Browns stockpile draft picks. THEN NOT PLAYING THE ROOKIES. (sigh) nothing good will happen this year with the brownies.. it never does

have any of you guys seen film on Damaysius Thomas? The kid looks good to picked up at spot 38.

Chris, you gotta have alittle hope this year. We have MH in the house making critical decisions. Do you agree with the DA and BQ move?

    • Chris says:

uber elf.. Yes I agree with the DA and BQ moves; but I do not agree that BQ has gotten a fair chance. If the Browns would have kept Quinn along with Wallace and Delhomme. Then BQ would have some support, he would have a guy(JD) to show him the ropes. Ratcliff and DA were not the guys to help BQ be the qb he can be… Also, I seen all the moves the Browns are making. More veterans to compliment all the rookies, which I’m very excited for. EVan Moore along with Ben Watson will 1. Help OLine 2. Passing threats from both TEs
