Should the Browns consider Vincent Jackson?

With the Browns having a question mark at the Receiver position, would you like to see them land Jackson from the Chargers? Jackson would probably cost two second round draft picks and you would have to sign him to a long term deal, Jackson would give Delhomme another target and take some pressure of the two younger receivers. The Browns would have to deal with his three game suspension and  I personally think the receiver position is going to be better then what people think and wouldn’t want the Browns to pull the trigger on this deal. Go Browns and Destination Super Bowl!!!

I personally would have liked to see him here. He is a good WR and has some good years left in him. And could help our WR’s on the field. Off the field he may be some trouble but we need to take some chances like that on guys that can play.

No way! Far too expensive. Those two draft choices will make team better in coming years when it will be contender.

If we have learned anything about this front office, they will not mortgage the future for the present. Quite the opposite. Free agent additions are quality starters who fit within a definite mentality and work ethic. (Gotta wonder about Robaire Smith, though. What was he thinking?) This is not a SB or even a playoff team this year. That goes to either Cincy or Baltimore. Good teams build through successful drafts, using FA judiciously and sparingly. I don’t see Vince Jackson coming here for that price.
