Around the NFL….

Will T.O end up in the AFC North?

T.O still hasn’t signed, although his agent has said there are five teams interested in his talents. The AFC North could land Owens this fall. The Steelers could use a receiver after Holmes departure this off season and Owens could be a good fit in the Steel city. The locker room could keep T.O in check and the ownership wouldn’t put up with his antics if they went down that road again. The Bengals were very interested in the receiver before they signed Bryant, and still could be. With a receiving core of Bryant, Ocho Cinco, and Owens, the Bengals offense would be extremely tough to stop with Palmer throwing them the ball. Roshenhaus said the Ravens and him haven’t spoken since the team signed Boldin but that would be another locker room where T.O would fit great in. The Ravens have leaders in Ray Lewis and Ed Reed on the defensive side of the ball that wouldn’t let Owens ruin possibly, their last shot at a Super Bowl. I would predict if he is going anywhere in this division it would be Baltimore. Cleveland has no interest in the receiver and there is no chance of him playing in front of the great Cleveland fans.

When will Bret Favre Return?

I would bet the farm that Favre returns for one final season in the NFL. The Vikings were to close to a Super Bowl for this Hall of Fame quarterback not to give it another shot at winning it all. I wonder if Favre will make it in for training camp this year unlike in past years. Nobody thinks he will but I think that number 4 will be in camp at some point before the preseason.

How will the Cardinal’s quarterback position play out?

I know the Cardinals are giving Matt Leinhart the first crack at being the starting quarterback in Arizona. They signed Derek Anderson this off season and I feel D.A could really work out in Arizona, with his big arm and weapons the Cardinals have.

The Jets…

I know it isn’t a question but they have been a great show since Rob Ryan has taken over the team. Now they have added Holmes and Tomlinson this off season and are being featured on the HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” There won’t be a boring day at Jets camp this year. The biggest question mark they have will be if Revis shows up on time to camp. He isn’t happy about his contract and is looking for a new deal.
