The game against the Rams was just as ugly as the weather. As I re-watched the game today, I was just as disgusted as I was last night. The team turned the ball over FIVE times and put it in on the field another two. I had such high expectations going into the Stadium on Saturday, to leave soaked and disappointed again. I really believed the team was going to come out and play a good football game against the Rams. Jake Delhomme didn’t look like he had the offense clicking on all cylinders even though he went 12 for 16. Josh Cribbs turned the ball over and had a sub par performance on Saturday despite his five catches and one Touchdown reception. Peyton Hillis,Lawrence Vickers, and Eric Wright were the lone bright spots on a miserable night at Browns Stadium. Colt McCoy had another bad performance for the Browns and doesn’t look good right now. With that said, thank god it is only preseason and we have time to fix the mistakes and get ready for Tampa Bay.

There are a lot of new faces in key positions this year. But, they played poorly against a team that is farther away than they are. This is not good. The defense had some pretty big plays against it. Feeley made them look bad on TE passes and Jackson was far too effective. Maybe it was the type of schemes used, but it was not good. Had it been a game where the 1s played throughout, it would likely have been a long night for the D.
