Rookie QB Colt McCoy On His Way Out?

There’s some thoughts among those in the Browns front office that rookie QB Colt McCoy is not exactly going to ever make it as a NFL QB. The Plain Dealer reports that McCoy is on the roster bubble, and that he could find himself flat out cut, as they say he’s one of 8 players on the roster that are on the bubble.

Many Cleveland Browns fans were excited when the Browns were able to land QB Colt McCoy in this past years draft, but is his career over in Cleveland before it has a chance to begin? The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that McCoy is one of 8 players which are on the bubble right now to be cut outright. Now McCoy has been dealing with a sprained thumb and the leaking of this news to the newspaper might be the Browns simply wanting to light a fire under McCoy, During Brown’s OTA’s this summer, McCoy was said to have looked good, and the plan all along was to bring McCoy along slowly. Browns president Mike Holmgren said during the off season that he had no plans to play McCoy this season.

“On the bubble” after but two pre-season games? When he was not even supposed to play this year at all, anyway? A third-round pick scrapped that fast? I find this very hard to believe.

This story is ridiculous! He just needs to relax and play better in the last two preseason games. What is even more ridiculous is putting a mosque near ground zero! Go to and sign a petition to stop it! Let our muslim appeasing president know you think this is an abomination! I gave a small donation, you should too!

OK. I’ll bite this once. It is neither a mosque nor is it “at” ground zero. It is a cultural center with a prayer room — like the Jewish Center nearby. And, it is located a tenth of a mile from Ground Zero — about a two minute walk away. Under the official version, a group of Muslim extremists perpetrated a horrific criminal act; no sovereign state — like Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor — was involved, at least officially. We declared war on no country — but on a tactic, as if that makes any sense. Do I sympathize with Islamists or even pretend to understand radical Islam? Not a bit. To me, it is more akin to a mental illness or psychological conditioning. Do I believe Islam has any answer, let alone the answer, to anything? No more than I believe Christianity has the answer to anything. Democracy means defending the ability of a person to say what they think, even if you oppose what they think with every bone in your body. Our democracy can withstand a Muslim cultural center in New York City. Suppression of freedom is another matter entirely.

The iman who is behind this atrocity has made many anti-American statements that the liberal media has not reported. When asked by a foxnews reporter if he thought hamas was a terrorist organization,he gave no answer. All islam is radical! It is fine to have a Jewish or Christian comm cntr nearby, they did not commit the 9/11 attacks, muslims did!

well said. what do you think would have happened if the Jappanese would have asked this at Pearl Harbor, where even less people were killed as I understand.

You are so wrong. I don’t want to spend the time and effort trying to make you understand. cuz at the base of our differing opinions is an absence of thought and understanding of certain beliefs and princibles.
