McCoy Back – Mangini Names Colt the Starter for Sunday at QB

As long as he doesn’t have a setback, Colt is back running the show for the Browns. The rookie quarterback will be the starter for the last three games this season, starting Sunday vs. Cincinnati (2-11).

McCoy sat out the past three games with a high ankle sprain, but after he looked good in practice on Wednesday coach Eric Mangini decided to move him back into the starting lineup ahead of Jake Delhomme, who has been terrible for the past two games, a win over the Fins and a loss to the Bills.

McCoy, who only received a chance to play this season because of injuries to Delhomme and Seneca Wallace, went 2-3 in five starts. The Browns are 5-8. Mangini said McCoy was “excited and determined” when he was told about starting.
