Colt McCoy has been in the NFL slightly more than one year, but he’s already providing the Browns with veteran leadership. McCoy secured the starting quarterback job with the Browns late in his rookie season and appears ready to be a star for the future. McCoy organized three lockout camps thus far and is expected to combine with Browns linebacker Scott Fujita on a full-squad mini-camp if the lockout continues long into July.
The Browns held two camps at the University of Texas in Austin, McCoy’s alma mater, while the middle camp was held at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. McCoy noted that the veteran players not only paid their own ways to these camps, but also helped defray costs for rookies and other young players.

“star for the future”? We’ll see. This has been uttered way too many times about Browns players.
He has no one to throw to.
