We can finally stop talking about NFLthe Lockout, and start preparing for the 2011 Cleveland Browns dream season. The schedule is favorable for the Browns early in the year and it starts with opening up against the Bengals. The Bengals have many question marks just like the Browns and should be a good test early on for this football team.
For the Browns to have a a shot at making the Playoffs they need Colt McCoy to play like the Quarterback we expect him to be. He showed his leadership skills this off season by getting the offense and team together with his “Camp Colts.” Peyton Hillis needs to stay healthy and pound defenses like he did in 2010, and hold onto the football. We need Greg Little to be a productive Rookie receiver and be a threat to help the rest of the Receiving core. I personally don’t think we need to add another receiver. I like that these young kids have grown together and should produce in the West Coast Offense.
The big question I have is how are they going to use Josh Cribbs? Cribbs wasn’t that productive as a Wide Receiver so far in his career. I would like to see him used as a 3rd down back. The Brown and Orange need a change of pace back and I think Cribbs could be productive in that position.
The Steelers and Ravens are the favorites to win the AFC North despite both teams getting older. The Steelers have an issue with the Salary Cap and need to dump some salary to get under the cap.
