Browns Sign CB Dimitri Patterson

The Browns have a new cornerback, as NFL.com reports that the team has inked CB Dimitri Patterson.

Patterson spent the past two seasons with the Eagles. Last year he started nine games, recording one interception. In six NFL seasons, Patterson has also played for the Redskins, Vikings and Chiefs.

The journeyman CB has 96 tackles in his career to go along with five picks and one sack. He will add some depth to the defensive secondary.

  1. Matt, he had 4 picks total last year.

He was also rated the #24 least valuable NFL player by a writer at grantland.

Exactly Mike, he had four picks last season with the Eagles, but before that had just one, his rookie season with the Redskins in 2005. Like I said, journeyman player who if he’s starting at any point in 2011 it will show that the team is in trouble.

Havent did any research on this guy yet, but it doesnt look good. Ive been a football fan for years, and it always seems my brownies always sign players I am unaware of their carreers. Something is wrong there.
