Mohamed Massaquoi Held Back by Hamstring Injury

The Plain Dealer reports that starting WR Mohamed Massaquoi is limited once again with a hamstring injury.

Starting wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi, who missed all four preseason games with a bone chip in his foot, has been bitten by the highly-contagious hamstring bug that’s been plaguing the team. He was limited in practice today with the “it” injury of 2011. Massaquoi, who caught three passes against the Bengals — including a 56-yarder — discovered what so many of his teammates already knew this season: that streaking down the field after a long layoff often results in a pulled muscle. Some of the other Browns who have missed practice or gametime with hamstring injuries include T.J. Ward, Usama Young, Ben Watson, Josh Cribbs and Peyton Hillis.
