Ray Ventrone Accuses the Ravens of Dirty Play

Browns special team ace Ray Ventrone accused the Ravens offense of dirty play in their 23-16 win at M&T Bank Stadium, Tom Reed of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He declined to reveal specifics.

“Watch the film, man,”said Ventrone, who played four snaps defensively. “There was some dirty stuff going on.”

Ventrone said the Ravens’ tactics did not contribute to any injuries, but he believed they were targeting the Browns secondary. Safety T.J. Ward suffered a thumb injury, while safety Usuma Young and cornerback Tashaun Gispon sustained knee injuries.

“There was just stuff that was happening after the play, during the play,” said Ventrone. “There was some unnecessary stuff that was happening to our defensive backs most specifically.

“No one was hurt by any of the stuff,” Ventrone said. “Thank God. But I think there were some cheap shots for sure.”
