When free agency starts later today, the focus for the Browns appears to be on Ravens pass rushing LB Paul Kruger, a guy who last season set career highs with 5.5 sacks.
Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports the Browns are close to a deal to add Kruger when free agency starts at 4pm today.
Many are saying though that the addition of Kruger is a reach, and the only reason Kruger is getting any attention is the fact he played with the champs on next to Terrell Suggs.
The Browns have the most salary-cap room to spend with upwards of nearly $50 to spend if they so choose on free agents.
So is Kruger a reach? Or will be play up to the reported $10 mil a year the Browns are going to give him?

He would be a decent — not great — addition. His stats improved dramatically when Terrell Suggs was on the field. Cleveland does not have a Terrell Suggs on its roster. IMO, $10M a year on this guy is way too much — more like $6-7M, at best. . . .
