Browns Trade LB Acho To Eagles For RB Lewis

The Browns today acquired Eagles running back Dion Lewis in return for linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

Last season Lewis was fourth on the Eagles depth chart, and rushed for 69 yards on 13 carries and scored on a 17-yard touchdown.

The Eagles drafted Lewis, who was was inactive for 6 of the first 7 games in 2012.

Acho was selected by the Browns in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft but missed his rookie season due to a knee injury.

He was placed on injured reserve Aug. 24th.

    Yet another hole to fill. Going to a 3-4 and we get rid of ANOTHER linebacker and get a third string RB at best. Great trade, new owner, new front office, same old stupid mistakes.

      I think you are getting your panties in a wad over nothing! Neither of these guys are even guaranteed to make their respective teams final roster! If Acho, who has never even played a down turns out to be a starter or a big contributor for the Eagles, then I might get a bit upset, but I highly doubt it! Lewis could turn out to be a contributor as a 3rd down back and a kickoff returner, but I would not get my hopes up!
