Cleveland Browns – Three Biggest Games Of The 2013 Season

Trent Richardson

Week One Sunday 9/08 vs Miami – The new look Browns open at home vs the Dolphins, and it would be for the best if this team could get off to a fast start with a big win over the Fins. Miami has the looks of a team that is going to be much improved, and if the Browns with a new coaching staff and high hopes of being improved are going to have what they deem a successful 2013, an opening day win over the Dolphins is key to getting off to a good start.

Week Five Thursday 10/03 vs Buffalo – The only Browns prime time showing for 2013 is on a Thursday night vs the Bills, a team with a new coach and new QB. Last season the Bills came to Cleveland and beat the Browns, and again boast a very good run game with Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, and the Browns have to find a way to stop the Bills run game, which will be the key to their offense this upcoming season. The Bills defense can be had, and it’ll be a night that Trent Richardson needs to have a big game if the Browns are going to get some revenge for the loss last season.

Week Eleven Sunday 11/17 at Cincinnati – The Browns come out of the bye with a game vs the Bengals in the Jungle. While the Ravens are the Super Bowl and AFC North champs, the Bengals appear to be the team that could be on the rise in the 2013 season. The Browns secondary will be tested by A.J. Green and Andy Dalton, and the Bengals defense suddenly looks like they could be the best in the division. If the Browns can sneak a win in Cincy, it will be a coming of age for this young team.

Critical games before a single pre-season game . . .? Are you kidding me? To me, the biggie games are the ones in the Division — all of them. Rock the Division — and you will rock the AFC . . .
