Browns Beat Up By Steelers; Chud To Be Fired?

A dismal season for the Browns came to a close Sunday with a 20-7 loss to the rival Steelers in Pittsburgh.

The team ended the season 4-12 after starting the year at 3-2. It was a year that started with many positives, but now it looks as if the end could cost head coach Rob Chudzinski.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that Chud will be fired after just one season, and it could come as early as tonight or early this week.

Chudzinski was hired January 11th after the Browns fired Pat Shurmur less than a year ago. The Browns, including owner Jimmy Haslam, became convinced they made a mistake and did not want to continue down their current path with Chudzinski, sources said.

The Browns plan to commence their head coaching search immediately. Last year they interviewed Bill O’Brien, Ken Whisenhunt and Chip Kelly, whom they regret not being able to hire.

What do you think Browns fans – a good move? Or should the team give him at least one more year to try and right the ship?
