Browns Starting Free Safety Damarious Randall Doesn’t Make the Trip to Pittsburgh in ‘Coaching Decision’

The Browns will be minus starting safety Damarious Randall on Sunday when they take on the Steelers at Heinz Field, but it’s not due to injury or the death threats he received after the first game between the biter AFC North foes.

Randall was left behind when the Browns headed for Pittsburgh Saturday, and reports say that it’s a ‘coaching decision’ as to why he didn’t head the 90 miles to Pittsburgh.

A league source said the decision is not related to the death threats Randall received from Steelers fans after he hit helmet-to-helmet that left rookie receiver Dontae Johnson concussed when the teams met at First Energy Stadium a few weeks back.

Sheldrick Redwine is listed as Randall’s backup, and likely will get the start at the free safety spot with Randall back in Cleveland.

What the hell is Dorsey and/or Kitchens doing? Are they purposefully handicapping the team? Got some money on the games do you boys? Then why do you keep sitting, trading or releasing players in the areas the Browns are already lacking in talent? Just plain stupid I guess.

I feel sorry for the owners. They should step in now and make changes— not wait till the season to end. Kitchen should not be the coach and Baker Mayfield is an average QB that has not earned the right to the position. Going no where this year- try another QB to see if they can do better with our premier receivers.
Mayfield and Kitchens are both terrible Ambassadors for the City of Cleveland And the Browns.
