This is a very young team and they played like it, but to give up on them and to give up on the coaching staff when you look at the numbers of young players just doesn't make sense to me. They are growing and will continue to grow into a very tight knit nucleus we can all be proud of. Don't give up yet, there are good things coming. So much for an OC, title only, maybe Holmgren and Shurmur are getting kickbacks from their agent, all three, Holmgren, Shumur and Childress all have the same agent. So another year of a head coach who couldn't call a game to save his life. Should have hired some other teams DC, they all knew our offense better than Shurmur did! I don't think any fair evaluation of Childress' record as an OC - the position he was hired for - could conclude he's not been effective. This could really help McCoy (if the Browns give him another year) or in developing RG3 if we go that route.If we had the smae kind of success they had in Philly with McNabb that Childress was a big part of, I'd be thrilled. I'll come back here and eat my words if I'm wrong, but everything - our draft picks, free agency potential, 2nd year in the WC system, new OC, full off-season/training camp - point to a quantum-leap in improvement next year.
