Much Needed: Browns Win Huge Game in Jacksonville 23-17

Putting a severe week of distractions and chaos behind them, the Browns pulled out one of their most needed wins over the past few years on Sunday, topping the overhyped Jacksonville Jaguars 23-17 in Jacksonville. The team didn’t need to hear anything else about tight end Kellen Winslow and all the issues that went along [...]

Oh My Gawd!! The Browns are Back; 35-14 Over Giants

First of all, Stallworth showed up tonight. Although the Browns had many strikes against them, such as, DA has the lowest completion % and QB rating of all NFL starters. The Browns are also the 2nd most penalized team in the NFL. The game started off with DA fumbling a snap from center but he [...]

Opening Week in NFL – Browns Fall 28-10

A sub par mediocre 1st half for the Browns. It all started with DA bobbling a snap on 3rd and 1, for no gain and a punt. Defensive back field stopped absolutely nothing in the half. Adams blitzed from the def. backfield and ran right past Jason Witten, who was wide open for a 1st [...]

As [...]

The Browns started the pre season tonight with some good showings and some not so good. Jet’s got the opening kick. They got a couple first downs and then on a fourth and 1, the defense stuffed the QB sneak by the Jets for no gain.  On the first play from scrimmage, Lewis ran for [...]

Calling it Right

I just reviewed some of my old letters. I made a few statements and judgement calls during the 2007 season. The Browns have responded to all but 1. 1. I said get rid of Grantham …. (they did) 2. Re sign Lewis ….. (they did) 3. Get a couple D Linemen … (they did) 4. [...]

Browns Getting There as 08 Already on the Radar

As I stated in a previous letter of the Browns needs … get rid of Grantham (they did) … re sign Lewis (they did, to a 3 yr contract), and get rid of Anderson. They have not been able to sign Anderson, and Savage says they may not be able to. I checked out 7 [...]
