At the end of the day, running back Duke Johnson got his wish.
The Browns today moved Johnson, trading him to the Houston Texans ending a saga that saw the third-year running back change agents and demand a trade from Cleveland.
In exchange for Joshnson, the Browns will get a 2020 undisclosed draft pick, word from Ian Rapoport from NFL Network is that the Browns got a fourth-rounder that can become a third rounder.
While the Browns lose a running back, they again add to their draft picks for the 2020 campaign.
The team has 10 picks in the 2020 draft, including extra fourth- (potentially third-), sixth- and seventh-rounders for trading Duke Johnson, Jamar Taylor and Corey Coleman according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Johnson joined the Browns as a third-round pick in 2015. He appeared in 64 games with 10 starts. He registered 1,286 rushing yards and 2,170 receiving yards on 235 receptions with 13 total touchdowns.
