There’s no doubt that when Wednesday night hit, Browns fans were giddy looking at the 2021 NFL slate that features the AFC North as well as the Browns, and their entire 17-game slate for the upcoming season!
While there’s a number of great matchups on the Browns slate, including divisional games vs the Ravens, Bengals and Steelers, the team also has a number of great games, home and away to look forward to.
Here are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:
9/12 at Kansas City – What a way to start the season. The club will be challenged by maybe the best team in the league when it comes to offense, and the Browns will be tested to score early and often. They hung with KC last year in the playoffs, but this is a different game with a different look.
10/17 vs Arizona Cardinals – The perfect place for the Browns at home against 3rd year QB Kyler Murray to lay an egg. Cleveland can’t afford to let Arizona, who inked a number of big name offseason players (including JJ Watt) to come into Cleveland and impose their will. It’ll be a knockout affair in Cleveland.
11/14 at New England Patriots – No Tom Brady? Doesn’t matter – the Pats are still a team in the AFC that you’d better be ready to deal with. The Pats didn’t make the postseason a year ago, but are determined to get back on track in 2021, and if the Browns can win this tough game on the road, it’ll for sure make a statement.
